A Successful Go Green Project:
RGB LED Sign Illumination Powered by Solar Energy

We received a call from the fine folks at HARVESTIME FOODS. The owner stated he had gotten our number from one of our repeat customers. They were in the process of starting a major renovation project and were looking into illuminated channel letters for two elevations.

The bulk of the project consisted of adding a new canopy with 96 solar panels incorporated within. Definitely a Go Green project. With the amount of solar panels in the works, they would be able to generate a daily average of 1,344 Killowatts. With that in mind our team decided they needed something out of the ordinary. Instead of conventional neon illuminated channel letters, we decided to internally illuminate the letters with RGB light emitting diodes. In addition, our techs made custom-programmable controllers, changing the effects of the LEDs to multi-color: red, green, blue and all the colors in between with a speed function to flash and wipe from color to color fast or slow.
As you can see from the video clip they are not standard illuminated letters. The people of HARVESTIME FOODS agree the signs fit the project and are more than pleased with the attention that they are receiving.
